Dr. Behar-Seilo (PSY31915) is a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, their families and support networks to overcome behavioral, emotional, and social challenges. Dr. Behar-Seilo collaborates with families to individualize cognitive behavioral therapy to best fit the needs of the children and adolescents she works with. She believes that therapy can be a fun and creative learning process.

Dr. Behar-Seilo received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Palo Alto University with emphases in child and family therapy and neuropsychology. She is inspired by the lasting changes therapy can create in our brains! As a doctoral student, she received training at Edgewood Center for Children and Families, St. Helena Hospital Center for Behavioral Health, and the Autism Center of Northern California. Dr. Behar-Seilo completed her predoctoral internship at Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, providing inpatient services to children and adolescents in crisis. Dr. Behar-Seilo has also engaged in research on social and individual factors that maintain anxiety and other mood disorders, how to provide cognitive behavioral therapy to children in schools, and how to support families of children with developmental disorders.
