Jenine Saekow, Psy.D.
Dr. Saekow is a licensed psychologist, with licenses in California (PSY28691), Colorado (PSY0006211), and New York (026698). She specializes in helping adults who experience depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, work stress, perfectionism, trauma, and disordered eating.
Dr. Saekow aims to provide a warm and compassionate environment to help her patients get relief from life’s stressors. She works collaboratively with her patients to identify their values, goals, and the changes they want to make. Oftentimes, her patients benefit from learning how to think more objectively, pause before reacting, and cope with painful emotions more compassionately. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help her patients feel more hopeful and capable of making positive changes in their lives.
Her clinical experience comes from earning her doctorate from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium, her internship at the University of San Diego, and her postdoctoral fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Hospital. Dr. Saekow has also worked as an onsite therapist on Meta and Google’s campuses, where she gained an expertise in helping tech professionals navigate their demanding work environments, imposter syndrome, and self doubt. She specializes in evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
When she is not in session, Dr. Saekow loves to spend quality time with her loved ones, bake cookies and banana bread, go for a swim, and spend time in the sun.
