Cecile Binmoeller, Ph.D.

Dr. Binmoeller is a licensed psychologist (PSY31602) specializing in evidence-based therapy and neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, families, and adults. Her expertise is in serving children and adolescents struggling with issues related to anxiety, mood, disruptive behaviors, autism, trauma, and learning difficulties. She also has extensive experience providing consultation to parents and schools. 

Dr. Binmoeller utilizes a variety of empirically supported treatments (including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-based therapies) and carefully adapts them to meet the unique strengths and needs of each individual. She strives to foster a collaborative space where individuals can take the first steps towards living a more enriching life. 

Dr. Binmoeller earned a combined Ph.D. in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology, a M.A. in Research Methodology, and a M.Ed. in School Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her doctoral research focused on examining the complex spheres of influence impacting bullying behaviors. In her clinical work, Dr. Binmoeller emphasized helping individuals effectively navigate challenges, connect with others, cultivate their strengths, and feel more engaged in daily life. 

Dr. Binmoeller completed her doctoral internship at the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program at Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center and her postdoctoral fellowship at Seesaw Psychology Group. She provided therapeutic services to treat a variety of mental health conditions, conducted neuropsychological evaluations, and received specialized training in crisis intervention, trauma informed care, diagnosing ASD, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and multidisciplinary consultation.
