Andrea Johnson
Andrea Johnson is a student therapist at the Pacific Anxiety Group, where she works under the supervision of Dr. Amelia Yu and Dr. Anne-Pier Voyer. She has a passion for helping children and teens navigate anxiety, and combines evidence-based therapies with a collaborative approach to support the families she serves.
Throughout her graduate training, Andrea has gained valuable experience in a variety of settings. She has led CBT groups for adolescents at the Stanford Stream Lab and is currently involved in a research initiative that explores the biological and emotional impact of cancer diagnoses in youth. Additionally, Andrea has also provided assessment and therapy services in Spanish during her practicums at La Clinica Latina and Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. At Kaiser, she conducted neuropsychological assessments for youth suspected of having autism spectrum disorder.
She is currently completing her practicum at UCSF’s Epilepsy and Pediatric Brain Centers, where she provides assessments for neurological and neurosurgical populations. She is excited to continue her passion for supporting youth and their families.
