Anastacia Anishchenko, Psy.D., Ph.D.


Dr. Anishchenko earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute and completed her psychology internship at Stanford University. She also holds a doctorate in Physics from Brown University and has done postdoctoral research in Neuroscience at UC San Diego and UC Berkeley.

Dr. Anishchenko offers culturally responsive therapy to individuals recovering from traumatic events and facing adjustment to major life changes, as well as those who struggle with the challenges of anxiety and depression, procrastination, academic/career stress, acculturation, family conflict, parenting, and work-life balance. She combines evidence-based interventions from various modalities including cognitive-behavioral (CBT), acceptance and commitment (ACT), attachment-based, psychodynamic, and existential psychotherapy. She has specialized training in trauma recovery and EMDR and has presented her research on the transdiagnostic mechanisms underlying PTSD at national and international conferences.

Dr. Anishchenko’s approach is warm, direct, and sincere. Her relationships with clients of all ages are based on mutual trust and respect. She often works with high-achieving individuals, business and tech professionals, medical professionals, university students, graduate students, and women in STEM fields. She is passionate about helping her clients live more fulfilling lives and navigate their personal and professional journeys while staying true to themselves.
